I feel like I’ve learned the hard way and what they say is absolutely true: the nights are long but the years are short. From the last post to this post, meet our light and joy, Kinsley.
It’s been forever since I posted and to be honest, I miss writing and posting. The world has changed since the last time I was here. Things, specifically online content, are faster and shorter now, and long-form content like blogs and posts aren’t as favored. I hope to post more regularly and hope this site gives you a sense of stillness and calm. As you read this, thank you for being here.
I thought these family photos are a perfect way to catch up and start fresh. He last time i posted Kinsley was still in my belly. She is one now. ONE! Where did the time go?! This journey has been challenging and incredibly rewarding at the same time. Honestly, my pregnancy was easy, the birth was a nightmare, recovery was terrible and for the first 6-8 months I was completely sleep deprived. But watching her grow has been my greatest joy. She is deeply observant, intensely interested in people, she currently hates diaper changes and we believe her love language is words of affirmation.
I’ll be sure to come back to my fashion and dice posts the comments I have received on Instagram, will post more reviews, size information and details. That being said, let’s get started with this. White jacket ($150) and white slip dress ($60). Nowadays I try a lot No adapt anything, but when an item is this good, I make the investment. This jacket + slip dress was worth the investment.
The jacket needed the sleeves and length shortened (for sizing reference, I’m 5 feet tall and weigh 110 pounds) and the slip dress needed the straps and length shortened. For small frames, you may need to adjust a little here and there to get a perfect fit. For non-small bodies, enjoy these two pieces! And speaking of the material side: the jacket has a nice weight to it and the slip dress is silky soft and has lots of movement. They are both beautiful in person!
