Welcome to my Christmas kitchen! You know that I love decorating every space in my house for Christmas, and the kitchen is no exception! We spend a lot of time in our kitchen and Christmas decorating brings me so much JOY! Today I’m going to show you my cute little $5 Christmas tree from Dollar General in our kitchen.

If you keep going FACEBOOK, then you had the chance to watch me decorate this little beauty LIVE! You can see that RIGHT HERE if you missed it!

I’m sharing photos of the tree at night and during the day, so you can get the full effect, because this $5.00 tree AMAZED me at how it came together to still look so pretty. Wow!

You all know I love a good gingerbread theme, so this was the perfect place for some of those decorations this year, along with my traditional kitchen decorations that I always use (see other KITCHEN TREE HERE)!

You all know I love using these kids utensils because they are PERFECT for my kitchen tree! You can get them at *Amazon RIGHT HERE!

I also love the HO HO HO sign and although it is a little big, it was the perfect addition to help make this tree stand out even more! Larger signs and items are perfect for incorporating into smaller, less expensive trees. Remember, you do NOT have to spend a lot on a tree to make it fabulous!

Instead of a traditional tree ornament, I opted to stick with my theme and place a baker’s hat on top! I told everyone this on air, but I received this from a super sweet fan several years ago, and I love it! This hat is absolutely gorgeous with the Merry Christmas patch, but a plain hat would be adorable too!

I filled the tree with sweet little ornaments in red and white, and to give it a little more dimension and texture, I added some “snow” to the branches using old poly-fil filler. It really doubles as a great tree filler, because the $5 tree is pretty scarce!

This kitchen Christmas tree fits perfectly on top of my antique tea cart! If you’ve been here for a minute, you’ll remember when I “remade” this tea cart years ago, and bought it for only $10! come see it HERE!

Continuing with the gingerbread theme, I added this DARLING garland and then filled the shelves with pops of red and white.

I had so much fun decorating this tree for my kitchen! You can visit Facebook and see step by step how I decorated it. HERE!

Do you decorate your kitchen for Christmas? I’d love to see your decor!
